A reality that shapes...

I recently read a book that revealed several things about popular theology. A grim conclusion was that it can lead others to unknowingly, or blindly, live a sudo gospel mixed with scripture and the law of attraction. Even more startling is that these doctrines cannot coincide in the same belief system. One holds that the sovereign God is supreme, worthy of glory, that Christ is the way to salvation through sacrifice and the other believes humans are the puppeteer, that God is the puppet, and you're every desire it is only a declaration away. One leads us on a life of joy and rich satisfaction full of love and the other ends in a superficial life void of meaning.
